
During the day on Blue Diamond Hill by means of convex mirrors placed on its rocky face,
we achieve the sign LAS VEGAS composed by a sequence of bright spots obtained with the sunlight reflection.
The sign is recognizable from a distance longer than 30 kilometers.
Obviously,
the mirrors will be positioned in the same place where there are the LED Lights.

CONCEPT SIMULATION
First Example:
to obtain a bright spot visible far away, you can utilize a simple mirror that reflect the sunlight but the reflection is visible only when you are in axis with the mirror. The advantage of a bright spot obtained by a Convex Mirror reflecting the sunlight is that, this bright spot is visible in a very wide area.
For this, a bright spot realized by a convex mirror of 40 inches diameter is recognizable longer than 15/20 kilometers away, and at the same time is visible from an altitude longer than 10 kilometers.
Second Example:
in order to obtain a very big writing of USA 1000 miles large and utilizing a GPS Device for positioning, we place on the territory 35 big convex mirrors of 20 feet diameter (in horizontal position for reflecting upwards the sunlight). The writing can be visible from the space at an altitude longer than 6000 kilometers.

SIGN 2 kilometers wide and 250 meters height
The sign of LAS VEGAS is made with:
167 Poles equipped with White LED Light and Convex Mirror
22 Poles equipped with Red LED Light and Convex Mirror
To realize the sign of LAS VEGAS, Poles model V2.0 as in the version on the right can be used.
The poles are able to be installed with a simple positioning by GPS on the rocky face of Blue Diamond Hill
[ During the Day ]
the bright spots will be produced by the convex mirrors that reflect the sunlight with an angle of 120 degree to guarantee its vision in a wide area more extended than Las Vegas town.
[ At Night ]
to obtain a clearly vision of the bright spots on the Blue Diamond Hill it is enough to use LED Lights of 100 Watts that have a very low energy consumption.
LED Lights and Convex Mirrors oriented towards the town will ensure a magnificent night and day shiny view of the Las Vegas sign at more of 30 km. away.
The LED Light does not need any power or electrical wiring since a photovoltaic system composed with the last generation of Solar Cell will provide to charge the batteries that ensures that the lamps work for
12 hours .
In addition, the lighting system can be turned-on and turned-off by a twilight switches supplied on board.
The Pole and its components are guaranteed as follow:
- LAMPS 50000 HOURS OF WORK
- SOLAR CELLS 20 YEARS
- BATTERY PACK 5 YEARS
The design and the height of the pole can be variable in relation to the place where it needs to be installed.

At night, for a shining vision,
it is really important and advantageous to choose a dark natural background for a sign composed by bright spots.
The face of Blue Diamond Hill is very dark and just using LED Lights that has a very low energy consumption,the sign will be very bright and recognizable longer than 30 kilometers away.
The LED Lights will be colored by white and red filters as the logo of Las Vegas.
In the simulation there are 189 Poles equipped by LED Lights (very low energy consumption)
directed towards the City of Las Vegas.
