On the roof of the building we can achieve a circular sunlight reflection with two different solutions:
- a circle of continuous convex mirror that give an uninterrupted glare ring
- a circle composed by single round convex mirrors that form a ring of bright spots
In the simulation, there are two circles, each composed by 60 Convex Mirrors of 40 inches
to ensure two glare rings recognizable at an altitude longer than 100 km.

To obtain a bright spot visible far away you can utilize a simple mirror that reflect the sunlight but the reflection is visible only when you are in axis with the mirror.
Conversely, a bright spot obtained by a Convex Mirror reflecting the sunlight is visible in a very wide area.
A graphic sign 500 meters large composed with bright spots obtained by a convex mirror that reflect the sunlight, or with a glare ring obtained by a ring of convex mirror, it is recognizable from space, at an altitude longer than 100 kilometers in an area 250 kilometers wide.

Proposal for
Apple Campus 2
Cupertino, CA
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
The objective is to valorize the style of Apple Campus 2, seen from the height,
with an innovative identification through distinctive bright spots positioned on the roof of building
employing equipment and materials suitable for full environmental sustainability of the 21st Century
by LED Lights
Graphic Signs realized by Mirror Systems
Currently, on earth, all the lights are turned downwards.
For this reason, a light projector (even if it is of low power) is very bright if directed upwards.
Seen from a considerable height will be a bright spot that stands out from all the other lights.
In the simulation there are two circles of 120 LED Lights 100w (very low energy consumption)
directed towards the sky to ensure a visibility recognizable at an altitude longer than 100 km.
